Calling a Voicemail Box
Calling a voicemail box allows you to leave someone a messages without ringing their phone.
To call a voicemail box, lift the handset and dial *, followed by the four-digit extension.
Calling a Local Number
Lift your handset and dial 8; followed by the seven-digit number.
Calling a Long Distance Number
Lift your handset and dial 8; then 1; followed by the ten-digit number.
The VoIP telephone system uses a 3 second timer between each digit you dial. This timer is used to detect when you are finished dialing so the telephone system can complete the call. You can predial numbers prior to lifting your handset. This allows you to take your time dialing the number. It also allows you to use the << soft key to back space any mistype digits so you can redial them.
Ending a call
You can end a call at any time by restoring the handset to your telephone.
