All college employees receive personal network storage (aka user home drive) when they receive a network account. The folder will be named after their username and and is mapped as the U drive when they log onto a college PC. Only they will have access to their personal folder. General purpose for the U Drive is to store work related documents that only they need access to. Document that require access by a group of individuals should be stored on the V Drive.
Please note: It is highly recommended that you store all your documents on the network drives. Please do not store any documents on your office computer (ie. the My Documents Folder). All of SUNY Ulster's network resources get backed up daily. Your office computer does not get backed up.
