Google Drive/Docs

Google offers a suite of office productivity tools with cloud based document storage. The suite of tools are similar to those found in Microsoft Office and include Google Docs (Word), Google Sheets (Excel), Google Draw (Publisher), and Google Slides (PowerPoint).

Google offers training and help pages online that can help you make the most of these tools. Links to the specific sections for the most used tools are listed here:

Files created with these Google Tools are stored in Google Drive (similar to Microsoft's OneDrive cloud storage). SUNY Ulster faculty, staff and students have unlimited storage space in Google Drive.

Google files can be accessed from any computer with an Internet connection (no need to be on campus), and can be shared with individuals and groups as you see fit.

Google also provides online training for Google Drive.
