Look Up & Schedule Rooms (SLQMEET)

When updating or creating a new course section room assignment in Banner follow the below instructions.

Change Existing Class
Go to SSASECT
Go to the class you want to update
Click on the "Meeting Times and Instructor" tab.

Click Options from the upper menu.
Select "Query Available Classroom [SLQMEET]...this form can not be accessed directly, only through the menu items.


The -Building (of the existing room assignment), - Days of the Week, - Time, -Campus, and - Capacity will appear on the top block of the form.

Delete the Building (even if you want the class to remain in that building)

Next Block

Enter the Desired Room Attributes*
    This may include:
        COMP - for a computer lab
*Use these attributes sparingly as many of the rooms have not been updated in a long time and the attributes are either not included or not correct.  If you do not get the results you thought you would with the attributes, remove and try again.  

Next Block to see available rooms that match the entered criteria.

If the room you want is available from the displayed list you can click on the record to insert it.



New Class

Go to SSASECT
Create the new class entering the Course Section Information
Enter the Section Enrollment Information
Enter the Meeting Times and Dates.
Enter the Instructor if known.
Click Options from the upper menu.
Select "Query Available Classroom [SLQMEET]...this form can not be accessed directly, only through the menu items.
The - Days of the Week, - Time, -Campus, and - Capacity will appear on the top block of the form.
Next Block
Enter the Desired Room Attributes
Next Block to see available rooms that match the entered criteria.
If the room you want is available from the displayed list you can click on the record to insert it.
